Banquet Beauties!!

So last night my campus ministry had a HUGE banquet, everyone dressed up and looked fabulous! The guys wore suits and ties and fixed their hair, the table was set with pretty flowers and gorgeous decorations, the food was amazingly delicious, and the dessert was to die for! It was wonderful! But you know what the best part was? The girls!

Every girl there looked like an absolute princess! Curled hair, high heels, pretty floral dresses, elegant dresses, sparkly jewelry, eyelashes, rosy cheeks, and big smiles--these girls looked so beautiful. Girls who never wear make up wowed us with their transformation, girls who usually wear makeup looked stunning with their full outfit! I am certain that each and every girl there both looked and felt like a princess.

Want to know whats even more awesome? God wants thinks you look like a princess every single day. The very first moment when you roll out of bed with no make up, messy hair, and squinted eyes, God looks down on you with love and warmness because of your beauty. He created you just the way he wanted to, and he thinks you're an absolute masterpiece!

Because God created you to look and be a princess (Ephesians 2:10, Psalm 45, Romans 8:16), he also wants you to feel like one everyday too. You see, if you view yourself through God's eyes you will see that everything about you is made the way it's supposed to be. You would see that because of Jesus Christ and your acceptance of salvation you are made perfect before your maker. You would also understand that you can no longer settle for the ways of this world, but you have a greater mission and a greater purpose to achieve. (John 10:10, Matthew 28:19-20, Ephesians 2:10)

So what are you waiting for? Has Christ not given his life to give you a purpose in God's kingdom? Did you not know that the Lord has set your beautiful life apart so that you can love people for him? Is this something you struggle with accepting?

Jeremiah 32:38,40
"They will be my people, and I will be their God. I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never stop doing good to them, and I will inspire them to fear me, so that they will never turn away from me."

  1. I really love this post! And most of all, I love you.

Thanks so much for posting Jeremiah 32:38,40.

I was thinking about using the Summer to start Studying Jeremiah in my T.A.W.G.'s and this was the perfect confirmation to do it.

God is going to do awesome things through you "mug main squeeeeeze." and He will through our Jeremiah study too.

    Thanks love!
